Ok I'm using Adobe Premier Pro to mix 5.1 surround sound for an independant film. When I'm mixing the sound in either the audio mixer or timeline, all I hear is stereo. The sound effects do not go from front to back or vice versa. However, when I export the file as an .avi with 5.1 channels, it works perfectly, sounding exactly as I mixed it. I know I have an ASIO-compliant sound card as it's a Sound Blaster Audigy. What else can I try here?
