just captured interlaced stuff via dvb. want to convert it to xvid whats now?
deinterlace, o leave it interlaced?
when i want do deinterlace it, how to proceed?

xvid is probably mostly played on the computer and then you should deinterlace it to look good.
XviD does also support interlaced encodings but then you must remember to not resize vertically and it should only be played on a TV to look good if encoded to interlaced format. The media player on a PC does normally not deinterlace interlaced XviD.
