i have the hitachi dz-mv730a mini dvd camcorder. i made a mini ram with itbut i can not play it on my pc. is there a way i can plug this camcorder in a copy the minidvd to my hard drive.help.

That is funny... have you read your user manual? I just checked this cam on the internet and whith regard to disk playability i fould this statement used: "For the ultimate in convenience, the user can take a DVD-RAM or DVD-R disc directly out of the Hitachi DVD camcorder and play it back in select Hitachi DVD players/recorders." I guess then not all player will be compatible. Check your documentation. I have a feeling that you have used RAM disk. Either you get RAM compatible player or change to DVD-R. Seems also that this one has no firewire. You need to call Hitachi and ask questions to avoid mistakes in the future.

I just found out that you need to buy a special USB hub for this one to be able to connect to the PC (about 30 bucks).
