    Hi all, my brother has been given a pc, after i made sure what spec it was i restarted the pc, then next thing i new i am having a display saying DPMS going to sleep? any ideas on how to fix this

    DPMS = Display Power Management System.

    When the computer re-boots does this appear in the POST? or does it appear after the OS is loaded?
