  1. Hi, for the last couple converts/burns ive done seems like all my vids are all getting messed up about 3/4 of the way in to them.

Im ususally converting avi to dvd and burning them in nero and useing winavi converter. Now the last 3or 4 dvds i made...closer to the end of them they start having issues where the video gets all choppy and the sound is way off. Is there problems cause funny now all of a sudden nothings working fine and i never had this problem before....and because my computers vid card is too old i cant tell if the avi file is the problem cause my computer doesnt play them that well anyhow..thats why i have to convert and burn them all. any help???

i was thinking of getting rid of winavi (thinking its the problem and it seems slow)and getting something better or different...hows avi2dvd and bullisoft(sp?) avi converter compared to winavi???

If you're looking for oneclickwonder apps, divx2dvd seems like your best bet. If you're wiling to invest some time and effort, there are plenty of guides using discrete apps under Convert left, AVI to DVD.
Choppy/broken up images at the end of the disc, is usually a sure sign of bad media. Take a look at www.nomorecoasters.com for media recommendations.

The blank discs. Maxell is a brand and a manufacturer - generally considered good media. Use some software like DVDInfo Pro to make sure it's Maxell manufacture.

  7. k im now running the divxtodvd (convertxtodvd) and its now esti. my conversion is going to take 6hrs??? winavi was like 3hrs??? no way im going to wait 6 or more hrs for a conversion??its encoding at like 6-7fps and winavi was doing it in 16-9fps i think

also not sure if i like this...is it going to ask me to burn right away?? thing is if it is my disks i didnt get a chance to unclick (del ffile after burning) so then to reburn do i have to go thru the whole conversion prosess again....
    because i have crapy disks??

I've heard WinAVI is fast, yes. But I'd prefer slow quality before fast crap...
I'm sure your files will be there for you if you'd want to burn 'em at a later point.

I used winavi all the time, and it works pretty good with almost all conversions. You may contact at support@winavi.com for some solutions.

And another reason NOT to support WinAVI. Legitimate businesses do not feel the need to spam constantly.

  11. Those behind WinAvi are little better than crooks. We have had enough of their lies, false guides and fake posts spamming VideoHelp. Please do not buy their products - the alternatives are better anyway, and I would not risk my credit card details with them either.
