I have some cool Divx documentaries that the encoder made them with German and English audio tracks but when I play them, I can hear both languages simultaneously. I tried to use vdubmod to save a new avi using fulll proceessing mode by disabling the German sound track. The new avi first of all was huge maybe 60GB and it had some popping noises through out the whole show. I just deleted the movie and would like to know if anyone has some specific advice on how to get rid of one sound track and still keep the final video at 700MB. Will I have to frame serve? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Don't use full processing mode.

Assuming that there are two seperate audio tracks, load the video into Virtualdubmod. Make sure video is set to Direct Stream Copy. Click on Streams->Stream List. Left-click on the German stream and then click on Disable. Right-click on the remaining stream and select Direct Stream Copy. Click OK. You should now be able to do a save as from the File menu and save a new AVI identical to the original except that it is missing the german audio track.

If you find that there is only one audio track, then you will have to demux the track, load it inot an audio editor, copy the english channel over the german channel (to replace it), save the audio, then replace it in the original avi.
