Firstly, I have added some text saying "Play All" on my main menu, then I go to connections, and click "Play All" and it adds a turqiose colored box, then I went back to my menu, and tried to drag "Play All" over the text of the same name to link it as a command, and I got an overlap grid show up in red, what does this mean? have I tried to get my text to "play all" the wrong way? I'm new to Lab so any help appreciated on how to make the play all feature work with text.
Also I am dragging my movies over text on my episodes menu, I have 5 episodes, and 5 lines of text with the features names on, I wish to link the 5 texts with my 5 movies, but it only seems to want to connect one at a time on the connections screen, why wont it connect all 5 movies to the text?

I'm not 100% sure what you are doing from the description, but the way to "Play All" would be as follows:
Create the "Play All" text on your menu. If you have only one video in your project, right click "Play All" and link it to your movie. If you have more than one video, you will have to create a Play List.
To create a Play List, go to the connections menu, and right click somewhere. Then Click Add -> Play List. Double click the newly added Playlist. Then add all of your movies in sequence. Then go back to the "Play All" text on the main menu, right click it, and link it to the Playlist you created.
I use DVD-Lab 1.0, so if you are using a newer version, it may have different features, but this method certainly works
