    I want to convert some mpg's to avi and keep it the same size. I have Nero 6 and TMPGEnc. Any suggestions?

    Do you mean filesize or the size of the video frame? And what kind of AVI, there are many types.

    Niether one of the mentioned programs are much good for this.

    You can use FairUse Wizard for easy and convert to Xvid or Divx. Or use Virualdub Mod and one of those two codecs Or AutoGK.

    And this isn't Advanced Conversion. Moving you.
