    Hi,

I have rmvb movies that I want to convert to DVD however the rmvb files is dual audio (different languages). How do I convert and filter out one of the language? I have been using WinAVI. It's a little buggy but it is fast....I am stumped as to how to take out one of the audio. I have some VCD's that I want to convert to DVD but also have the same problem. I would assume the process are similar as well.

    Thanks.

I am able to remove the audio from the video however what do I do with the audio. I believe the audio is stereo with different languages set to left and right channel. I need an application that can filter one of the channels. nel. Then I can merge them back again.

    Thanks.

If that's the case, you got a LOUSY RIP of a VCD.

You need to demux the audio, delete one channel, copy the other channel (basicaly dupe it), and mux it back in.

Okay...got it all figured...however its a lot of work. For those interested,

    You will need,
    - Avisynth, VirtualDubMod, TMPGEnc, any DVD Authoring applications.

    1. Goto to Avisynth website to see how to load RM files with VirtualDubMod.
    2. Open VDM and open .avs file as per step 1.
    3. Under stream function demux the audio. Pick stereo and select only the left or right channel to extract the language you want.
    4. Save the audio wav file.
    5. Use TMPGEnc to combine the video and new audio back together again as mpg file.
    6. Use any DVD authoring tool to make DVD.
