    I have had this player for almost 2 years now, it has its quirks but it works just fine. That is up until now. It used to play backups just fine, until this one day where I had just backed up a movie I just bought and tried to play it. Now, no backups work at all. Anyone else heard of this happening?

    Were the blanks all from the same batch? Maybe its bad media that went belly up.

    Can you play new burns on different blanks?

    Nope. Nothing backed up works... I had Kodak DVD-R's (which I figured was the problem, I was given 200 of them) so I tried some TDK and some others, and nothing works.
