    i'am just new here so i dont know if this is asked before butt i like to know if there is a movie editor for mp4 files

    What kind of MP4? That's mostly a generic term and saying which codec you have in mind is much more informative.

    But try VirtualDub. The big problem when editing highly compressed formats is that they may only have keyframes every several hundred frames. This makes frame accurate editing difficult. When cutting out commercials, for instance, you may only have an accuracy of 5 seconds or so. Not the best for clean editing. This is the fault of the encoded file, not the editors.

    well its like this if i put a umd movie in my psp there is a menu i like to make that to butt dont know for sure what kinda video format there is on a umd disk
