I flashed my LG GSA-4167B DVD writer to DL13 firmware and now my ripping speed is sloooooowww!!
The problem is I don't have a copy of the older DL11 firmware which worked fine and gave me faster rips to flash back to. I can't make any sense of LG's site for downloads, it's just awful. Spent an hour there and found nothing!!
So, does anyone know where I can get a copy of the DL11 firmware, or an actual link to the LG site where they keep their firmware?

I haven't flashed to DL13 yet and my drive came with the DL12 firmware and it is much slower than my old GSA4081 at ripping!
I've wondered why? -
Have been 3 releases of firmware for this drive - DL11, DL12 and DL13. I never used DL12. I never noticed any difference in rip speeds between DL11 vs DL13. This drive is a very slow reader/ripper and I would be very surprised if firmware has anything to do with rip speed for this drive. Is a great burner though. BTW - Here's the link to firmware:

Good Luck.
