I can capture video from my TV or VHS using Nero Vision Express to MPEG 2 but when the program starts transcoding so I can then save it a DVD it freezes after about 5 minutes of transcoding.
Does this have anything to do with not having enough hard drive space. I use Windows XP with the capacity of 57.2 GB. The system is showing I have used 16.7 GB and have 40.4 GB free.

I'd think it more of a problem with software personally, though you Really could use a HD upgrade.
Unfortunately, I think if you google on it you'll see no patterns and many causes for Nero locking up. My only guess would be to make sure things aren't getting too hot, & that no other software or services are running as possible.
