    Try ffmpegx.

    Open the file with ffmpegx and select preview.

  4. This is obviously a high resolution h.264 (AVC) video stream in MKV container, and your CPU is not strong enough to play the file including the subtitles.

    On what OS are you ? Linux ? Windows ?

    mercmisfire, did you try ffmpeg, or ffmpegx? And, it might be a good idea to fill out the 'computer details' part of your profile, so others can know more about your system and be better able to help you.
