So what's your favorite moment in the Matrix trilogy?

The ending? The credits because you hated it? One of the giant battle scenes?

For me its a tie between the lobby shooting spree in the first matrix and the neo vs smith battle in RELOADED when he spins around with that street sign.

Though personally REVOLUTIONS wasn't very good at all in my opinion.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

yeah, I'd go for the lobby scene also (it's the only one I can actually recall at the moment )

I also watched a similar scene in the 3DMark2001? graphic benchmark program numerous times when I was into overclocking

My whole life is just as confusing as The Architect scene in The Matrix: Reloaded.

Probably the real version of the scene that MackemX posted. I think that's just the quintessential bullet time shot.

Maybe I'm alone on this one but I loved the trilogy as a whole just as much as the original Matrix.

My favorite scene was in the first film near the end ... when Neo finally realizes he is "the one" and jumps into Agent Smith's body, causing him to blow up.

My favorite (two actually) is the real version of of the clip in MackemX post and at the end where neo stops all the bullets with his hand and picks one bullet out from the air .

    Well, for me..

I loved the first Matrix. Most of the action-exciting scenes
where, IMHO, original and more realistic to enjoy.

( I remember, when it first came out, and shortly afterwards,
how many users here were using it in their every-day video
"best shot" scenario's - seen may short sample clips in the VCD
format - but they were all good for its time, during that ERA, and
it was during that time, I had no interest in it. But one day, I
decided to buy it and use it in my own testing scenarios. And that
was when I fell in love with the movie. But it was in the first one,
that I did. And the wrest.., though they are ok, the last one, you
can surely feel, motivation'wise, most char's were not giving it their
    all )

I think that when the 2nd one came around, my impression of some
of the charactors were, "..ah, I'm too good for this sequal, I'll
just wing it.." star-attitude.. cause they knew that they were
going to do the third and final one right after - I guess.

Then, when the third came out, you *all* could tell that Neo**
and others, did not really feel (nor fill) into their charactor
rolls. It was just too soon, there back-to-back movie sequals.
It was like they just wanted to finish it up and move on to
other movies or other life endeavors, kind of attitude.

As such, I continue to find more desire and interests in watching
the first Matrix. (I have all three)

    Favorite scenes..

    Oh yeah.. the Morpheus vs. Neo** fight scene - the music; lobby;
helecopter; were a few of my best scenes.. plus others.

Heck, lets not forget the very first opening scene with Trinity.
That scene paved the way to the movies on-going, "stay in your seat"
    action-packed experience!

EDIT: **corrected later - made correction to name..
(Neo, not Neal) and (Morpheus, not Morphious)

You realize the main characters name is NEO not NEAL? What kind of name is that for a hero in a sci-fi action film?

    Agent Smith: "Mr. Anderson."

Neal (in Vhelp's world): "My name is Neal."

Doesn't quite have the same effect.

The action scene in the second movie.

    The super long one.

It starts in the staircase when Neo stops the bullets in the air. And it continues into the Freeway.

It's at least ten minutes of pure and perfect action. And it has almost everything, hand to hand, edged weapons, a car chase, a motor cycle chase, two semi's ramming into each other head on, gun fighting, flying like superman and more.

I would have paid the price of admission just for that scene.

The second movie also has the lowpoint of the trilogy, Morpheus Dance Party AKA the Bathroom Break.
    snappy phrase

    I don't know what you're talking about.

You mean when the BLADE LEAPERS chapter starts?? Yep that is pure adrenaline. Great action with guys flipping all over the place and the FREEWAY chase was superb. Along with MORPHEUS fighting with the sword.

Matrix 1, when Neo says "NO" and stops the bullets.
