    Well, i have 3 Movies , Shrek, Saving Private Ryan, and Final Fantasy:, Anyways, they ripped awesome and play in great quality and now i want to put them onto a VCD. They are in extremely near dvd quality in the DivX qualty their in, but when i put them on VCD, some strange stuff happens. I use the Nero Encoder i bought. When i play them on any computer or DVD Player after i convert it thru Nero it will play fine for the begginging, and then halfway thru it will start flashing about every 10 frames or so a very low low quality image, then be good, then flash. it's just a very low res blocky image. Anybody know why this is? Also after its encoded the sound loses sync near the end and it is interleaved so it shouldnt. Anyways, i couldnt find any settings for nero's encoding so if anyone could help i would like it. Thanks

    why are you ripping your dvd's to divx? you'll lose quality just by doing that alone! try using dvdecrypter, dvd2 avi and finally tmpgenc to encode to vcd or svcd. dont use nero to encode leave that for the burning to disc. regards......dave
