Ok, I bought this player without doing to much research on it but in another forum, before I found this one, someone told me that YES indeed this model could be hacked to allow upconverting thru the components by,which I may be wrong, disabling the HDCP.Now the guy who told me that it could be done hasnt been in the forum for a week and a half.I have NO intentions of doing anything illegal ny nypassing the HDCP nor do I have the knowledge how, simply one of my HD sets doesnt have an HDMI and still would like to try the upconvert, even if its not any better,I'm just a tweaker and like to try every possible setting to see what I get. Please, the people on this forum seem to be the most knowledgeable on this topic and a definitve answer from someone would be highly appreciated. I guess it would be a remote hack as I havent heard anything about this player having firmware, but again I am completely new to these players and would very grateful for any help you guys could give me...Thank you in advance
