Alright, I've ripped the movie to my HD using AnyDVD (I'm assuming that all the latest protected features have been removed, right?) and now I'm trying to rip the movie file from my HD to DVDR with DVDShrink (once) and DVDClone2 (once).....

    Both softwares ran into ERRORs!

    the DVDShrink says...
DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
    Failed to open file "C:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_06_0.VOB"

    the DVDClone2 says....
Creation of DVD files was not successful:
    Unexpected error
when I click on the Details button, I get this....
    NavigationPack 6 32402 121 115 VOBU 4 32402 121 Clone 6 TCE

What's the deal? Was the copy protection not removed by AnyDVD? Help me out gentlemen!

    Thanks.

  2. Process the decrypted files on your HD with FixVTS, then try DVDShrink again on the FixVTS output. Good luck.
    Pull! Bang! Darn!

You should have tried right off with CloneDVD2, no need to call up AnyDVD. AnyDVD would have decrypted the movie in the background while CloneDVD wrote to both the HD and DVD. A one step process that should take 20-30 at 8x. Try it again before you start messing with 2 or 3 other pieces of software. Just make sure you "uncheck" the "delete files after burning" box.

Did as you've suggested....seem to be working fine thus far! It's in the creating DVD file stage.....when the project is completed, then I'll share the news.

Thanks! Hopefully this sucker will work.

It worked, DVD complete! AnyDVD in the background and DVDClone worked like a charm! Thanks!

  6. I had a similar iussue with _Sea of Love_ as a DL 'test'

Run the ND-3550 drives x2. One is 1.04 firmware other is 1.05. 1.05 was 'upset'. The other worked fine. Just an FYI.
