I ripped the dvd using dvd decrypter in "file mode" not IFO. so i have a bunch of vob files. i loaded these up in autogk and my final product is horribly out of sync with the audio. i am thinking it is because i did it in file mode, but i wouldn't see why taht would matter. i thinking about adding all of the .vob files in vStrip to create one .vob. maybe the audio willl stay in cue if i do this? anyhelp would be good - thanks

If you just wanted one large VOB with Decrypter: 'Tools>Settings>File Mode>File Splitting' and set it to 'None'.

hey - thanks for the help. but i no longer have the dvds, my friend is borrowing them, so the only files i have are the 4 or 5 vobs files (ripped in file mode).. if i load these in for demuxing hopefully that will solve my audio sync problem? i don't know..........

Tried using DVD2MPG and an error message came up at the beginning - the program closed a couple times while i was in the middle of my conversion. it frustrated me and so here i am again.... i think that the program i need to use is vstrip. what is a good program to use to view my .vob file after vstrip has processed it? my final goal is to get 1 .vob file and import it into autogk then let it do the rest....

I used Vstrip to make 1 .vob file from all of my original vobs. i loaded this into agk and it is very close to being complete - i do hope that it works. I just don't see what the huge difference is between ifo and file mode when ripping through dvd decypter. the resulting files are exactly the same..
