  1. After trying latest version of Clone DVD, Recode, Shrink, Fab, Fab platinum, Decryptor and 1 click dvd copy, Any DVD I have drawn the conclusion that the Title Constant gardner is a culprit of new protection. Did any 1 copy this Title @ all??

I had no problem in backing up "THE CONSTANT GARDNER". I used DVDFAB DECRYPTER & DVDRB PRO.

Older versions of DVD fab decrypter will have issues with copying this disc. It does have a somewhat newer protection on it but nothing new from this year. Update fab and rip it.

    , a dirty disc

I've still got a couple of my own protection methods from ages ago when the ARCOSS protection came about as it got me interested in whether I could protect my own DVD's. Of course it would stop people copying DVD's for however an amount of time it would take to crack the methods.

p.s. Sony or any other Studio, I am available for employment at a very high price

I never told anyone how I did it but if I was to ever burn a DVD of wedding etc and be charging for them (never have yet and probably never will) then I would use them as there's less chance of it being copied

it's a shame Sony or such didn't come knocking at my door and pay me silly money for the ideas back then

Why don't you make a quick ISO for us to test out? I would love to see if I can rip it for you. Or can you not make one?

I want to make a baseball instructional video. I would prefer it not to be copied. Many man hours are going into this.

There's always a way. I haven't yet encountered such a problem in backups. One utility or another usually does the trick. But, if I did encounter the problem and none of the utilities would work (and if the DVD plays fine in my player), I'd simply run my player outputs into my Hauppauge capture-card inputs and do an MPEG2 capture in real-time on-the-fly ... and burn the result.

If a movie gives you this much trouble and you spend hours trying to back it up my suggestion is to create the best backup possible and purchase another copy. You will not only save yourself considerable time but you will also show continued support for those people who provide you the best entertainment value.

I agree, actually. Not because of the "continued support" for the people who spend more time trying to circumvent fair use, than to make a good product, but of simple economic principles: I know the relation between what a DVD costs and income varies greatly (individually, and depending on where you live) but I'm sure not many would have to work more than 3-4 hours to earn enough to buy a new DVD. Spending more time than that trying to backup a disc is simply bad economy.
