Can anyone advise on what's gone wrong. I used to be able to video send wirelessly to my tv from pc and see the stream on both monitor and tv. Although the settings on pc are for cloning the tv with monitor as primary display all I get is what's on my desktop or, in full screen mode, the surrounding of vlc player or wmp.

To clarify...
Is the video signal actually reaching the TV? And if so, where the video should be playing, it is just a black box?
If that is the case then some sort of video overlay isn't working correctly. Look for video overlay settings in you video player on the PC and the video driver on your PC. -
P4 with MCE is of no use at all. What graphics card do you have? You need to go into Display Properties, Settings, Advanced and in there somewhere you should find the overlay options. If you don't, you either haven't loaded the video drivers or they are corrupted.
Can't give you any more help without knowing what card you have. -
Thaks. I have a Radeon x600. When in advanced settings and overlay there are only settings for gamma hue etc. This used to work fine for me. How can i check if video drivers are corrupted? What can I do if they are?

See if you can turn off "Windows Media Acceleration"? I have an ATI card and while I haven't tried doing TV out yet that seems to cause a bit of problems from what I heard.
