Hi,
I have ripped the various trailers of different movies and authiored a dvd using dvd shrink. The moment i put it in the player , it starts playing but i cannot move forward by using the forward function in power dvd as the files are allocated in different titles. Please let me know whether these files can be joined in such a way as to put them in a particular title but with progressive chapter numbers so that i can skip a particular chapter if i wish. Thanks again.

Hi tryst20,
You need to author them with an appropriate authoring tool. I don't know that DVDShrink can do it and, if it can, how to do it.
Look in the "Tools" section, there's quite a few authoring tools and some free ones that will do the job.
Good luck. There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.

Hi daamon, As far as you query is concerned , plese look into the guide " how to make a mixed dvd"

You didn't mention different aspect ratios in your original post. Theoretically, mixing aspect ratios o the same track is outside the DVD spec, although it can be done. The special edition of Chicago does this on disc 2 - one huge title with mixed AR. It drives the player/TV nuts.
If you want to merge them all into one track then I think you will have to find some way to set the AR flags to be the same throughout, merge them, then go back and adjust the AR flags for subsections.
The only other solution I can think of would be DVD Lab Pro, with multi-VTS's, bridges and playlists. I can't say for certain it would work, or how much effort it would be.
The simplest solution - choose one AR (4:3 or 16:9), resize everyting to that AR, merge, encode and author.Read my blog here.

Would playlists help?
*Maybe* an almost easy way to do it would be create your layout using multiple patched titles (if you use DVD Patcher can patch only 1st header) with same ar & using playlist. Then as gunslinger posted either patch video back to correct ar (easier as separate titles) or replace video with unpatched originals.
Potential prob. are might be able to jump using next chapter button, but not ffwd, & player might/might not like the DVD.
