Just got myself a JVC dvd recorder and need quality dvd-rw discs from Bestbuy/Compusa/staples.
I have no idea what brands from these stores would be quality. I have only always used +media made in japan Verbatim (MCC) or Fuji (RICOHJPN). So what brand do I look for with -rw for these stores?

What We Do In Life, Echoes In Eternity....

When I got my recorder last year I was in the same boat. I had no experience with DVD-RW media. I was in a big hurry - so I looked in the user manual under recommended media. Said Fuji 1-2x and they were sitting right in front of me on the shelf at Bestbuy. Bought a 5 pak and headed home. To my horror - they id'd as RITEKW01.
I thought I wasted my money for sure. That was 9 months ago and dozens of uses per disk ago. They are still working much to my surprise.
I by no means recommend them - just sharing my experience. -

***UPDATE***
Media Code for Fuji 2x dvd-rw is RITEKW01 hope they work out.....What We Do In Life, Echoes In Eternity.... -
If you have an H.H.Gregg near you, look for JVC 4x DVD-RW made in Japan by JVC/Victor.

I'd love to find the JVC MIJ media or any DVD-RW MIJ media here in the US. I use Verbatim 4X DVD-RW when I do use it.
