Hello
I am thinking of buying a DVD player with USB and attaching an external HD to it...but there is no info on the max. bitrate..anybody has any experience with stuff like that? Assuming that it's USB 2, you have any suggestions?
Thanks
Dan

You need a computer inbetween of course.
16x burns would require greater than 22,160 Kb/s (22.160 Mb/s). This is well within the USB2 capability.
USB2 external HDD usually exceed 80Mb/s (10MB/s) sustained data rates.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.
