Can anyone tell me how to create a single Win2k boot CD from the 4 disc floppy set?

    Any help is appreciated.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for.

I just read your post again so never mind about that link I provided.

It's not exactly a boot disc, but I use a version of BartPE for diagnostics for PCs. It has several versions of OS's on the disc you can load into memory from the CD. It can include diagnostic programs. It will run the PC even without a boot drive or OS installed. The version I have has Win2K on it also.

You can format drives, run scandisk and other utilities. Very handy tool.

I think what he is trying to do is put the 4 disc install set all on one CD. There is a way to do this sort of like slip streaming. But I can't remember the web site that describes it.

  6. The program is called BCD.

It can create a Bootable CD for either Win2K, or WinXP.

How about copy files from 4 floppies into a folder on hard drive, and then use Nero or similar burning program to make a bootable CD with those files? I've not tried it, but it seems like it should work.

I bypassed the whole floppy thing and just built a bootable Win2k CD using the Win2k boot sector, a slipstreamed disc and Nero 6.

    Thanks for all your help.
