    Hi,

    I got DGIndex, version dgmpgdec146.zip

But I don't know know how to use this, I read the guide...but I need some examples.

What sources does I need ???? i.e. the source can be a multiplexed MPEG2 stream or demuxed audio and video ?

if audio and video must be demuxed, what format of audio does it support ? (WAV ? AC3 ? )

can someone give me a sample of AVS script ?

    thanks

    thank you

I made some improvements, I learned a lot, but I have another question :

I still have to configure compression/codecs within VirtualDub..isn't it ? i.e. configure bitrates and all that stuff

or is it enough to load AVS script ?

Yes, if your intent is to output as an AVI, you need to set these settings in VirtualDub. Dgindex and Avisynth merely enable you to frameserve the MPEG video into VirtualDub, they are not encoders.
