Can you expand upon this - Do you get an error message? Or does the drive show as empty? Or what happens - exactly?

When I put a blank DVD into my DVD burner, clicking on that burner in Explorer shows a blank screen (i.e. blank disc) with no messages.

Hmmm... Not wanting to state the obvious, but I'd say that the drive doesn't currently like DL media - depsite what DVD Info Pro says. I don't know much about DL drives, so can't suggest anything.

Have you tried going to the website for the drive's manufacturer and / or contacted them?

How long ago did you buy the machine? Is it still in warranty?

Good luck, sorry I couldn't help more.
