  1. I'm having Problems ripping anything using this method, as TEMPEng will not accept the MPEG Audio track, it crashes everytime, no matter what order i load things in (ie Template, Video and Audio Sources). I have tried it with 3 or 4 DVD's and always get the same results.
TEMPEnc works fine if i use Sefys Guide and i have ripped numerous DVD's b4, but i'd be interested in seeing what the quality difference is between the 2 methods.
Am i doing something Stupid? It won't be the 1st time, lol
    Any ideas?
    Cheers

  4. Thank You Very Much for the Speedy reply.
I did read your other posts suggesting toolame and SSRC and I have given it a go, but always got stuck somewhere along the line
    I lookforward to the update.

  6. bilbogod it is a lst file not a 1st file you can make one your own but SmartRipper makes onefor you...this how you do it open up notpead and type some thing like this:
    C:\videos\vts_01.vob
    C:\videos\vts_02.vob
    C:\videos\vts_03.vob
    C:\videos\vts_04.vob
but with the correct directory and number and name of your vob files then after name it "streams.lst" with these signs "

BTW Your new guide needs altering slightly as it still talks about importing the mpeg soundfile, instead of teh wav.

  9. Cheers pinoy! I know what the problem was. I'd taken short cuts with the settings on Smartripper and hence couldn't get the later steps to work. I figure loads of people are guilty of getting to excited/ taking shortcuts and then crying for help

  10. O.k. still can't get this to work. It just keeps on coming up with the message "Failed to open a file in the list". Why is this happening?? This is what my lst file looks like in Notepad:-

    C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\vts_01_1.vob
    C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\vts_01_2.vob
    C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\vts_01_3.vob
    C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\vts_01_4.vob
    C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\vts_01_5.vob

  11. weell why is your vobs on your desktop?? you should rip it in to a folder somewhere where only your DVD Rip work goes thats how i do it and it never fails on me and it is organized try to put it on a folder and try and dont put it on your desktop but now you have to edit your lst file with the directory you put your vobs in

  12. C:\WINDOWS\program files\blow\vts_01_1.vob
    C:\WINDOWS\program files\blow\vts_01_2.vob
    C:\WINDOWS\program files\blow\vts_01_3.vob
    C:\WINDOWS\program files\blow\vts_01_4.vob
    C:\WINDOWS\program files\blow\vts_01_5.vob

Now looks like this, but it's still not having any of it. Same error message again. Unless its a problem with what I am doing I'm going to uninstall and reinstall again.
N.b. Blow is the name of the film...
