    Anyone know of a good program (preferably free) that is good for editing and splitting video files? For example, I have a file that it 1 hour long, made up of many music videos, but want to divide them into individual music video files.

    MPEG Streamclip is a good choice. It is free but requires Apple's $20 QuickTime MPEG 2 Component.
