When I type out an email in Outlook 2002, I on occasion will use an email address or a website address in the body of the text. From my end there is not a problem:
I will have typed: username@isp.com
but the person who received the email will receive this in the email:
HYPERLINK "mailto:username@isp.com" username@isp.com
Is there a way to stop this happening other than sending in plain text?
Thanks.

I send from and to Outlook 2003 clients all the time and it works fine if you compose and send in HTML, and the other person can read HTML properly. Any details on what client the receiver is running ?
Obviously a quick test to see whether it's you or them with the problem is to send yourself an email. If in doubt, Google it. -
I think it is me as I have received emails in this format too.
Any email I send will also be in this format when viewed in Sent Items.Cole -
I have just sent a test to my hotmail account and it does exactly the same thing.
