Changing Profile 'Status'

I notice that there are many wierd and wonderful status' around this site.

What I mean is, rather than just being simple Newbie, Member etc etc, it appears that some peeps have given themselves a different status. Is that right?

There's Ena Sharples for instance, and a guy with 'My member' rather than Junior Member or Member!

What's going on there then.

I can't find an option to change that in my profile and have searched but can't find any link to it.

Am I off my head or can this be done......am I missing something?

click on the Profile tab on top of the page, there is an option to change the member status under Profile Information.

There's a certain amount of posts you need before it magically appears... It used to be 50, not sure what it is now.

I think it's a macro that Baldrick has to run. If you're over a certain amount, as thecoalman said, it unlocks the entry in your profile.

I remember asking that question when I started here, cant remember the answer though. thinking it was less than 100
