I have an avi file and i want to resize the width and height. i was using virtual dub mods resize feature but the file size doubled. how can i resize and keep the same or near same file size and quality? TY ahead of time.

use same bitrate as the source video
file->information and then video->compression and select codec and compression bitrate.
and be sure to just copy the audio, audio->direct stream copy. -
TY for the reply. i went to do what you told me and i didnt see bitrate under the FILE>INFO option. is the DATA RATE the same as BIT RATE? TY
