  1. Anyone Know anything about this?
I've got a copy of it but the only help files i can find are in Dutch (I think thats what it is anway)
I've got it working, have ripped to the HD but i need more plugins to make anything other than DivX.

  2. The only thing you can encode with DVDeo is avi's(it uses MPEG2AVI for the encoding engine)you can't make VCD's or SVCD's.

  3. No, there is a professional version of DVDeo that can burn (S)VCDs.

In Germany, the tool is called "DaViDeo Professional" and is released by G DATA (www.gdata.de/).

Ok, the site is in German, but you could use Alta Vista Babelfish to translate.

(So, where to get it? Yesterday I saw somebody with a copy of "DaViDeo" riding on a donkey *wink wink*)

BTW: You could try DVDx (www2.labdv.com/dvdx/) which is also a one-step DVD 2(S)VCD-solution. And it's freeware.
