  1. hi i am new to all of this i have some old super 8 movie footage which i have transferred to computer what i need to know now is how do i make it into a dvd and i want to add some music which i have on the computer as i said i am new i have absolutey no idea what to do at all can someone tell me what programs i need any help would be most appreciated thanks in advance

    how have you captured the video? what video format? dv,mpeg2,avi(what codec?)...

    the basics steps are
    edit, add audio with some advanced editing tool like premiere elements.
    output to dvd mpeg2, many all-in-one editors supports it.
    author,burn to a dvd, many all-in-one editors supports it also.

    hi my old footage is an mpeg format as to what codec i have used i would not have any idea sorry as i am totally new to all this ok any help most appreciated i am trying to use adobe premier pro ok but having very little luck so far
