Is it OK to defrag a drive that happens to contain a Norton Ghost image on it? I've only had to resort to a restore from a Ghost Image once in my life (due to an aborted Windows update )....I was thinking of deleting the image...defragging...then creating another image of my C: drive to that drive but I don't want to risk that if it is not necessary.

It's just a file, so no harm done. If you are prparing to create a new image, then I would delete the old, defrag, then create the new image.

    Oops...I'm an idiot.
Powerdefragmenter can also defrag individual files/folders.
