I am new at the video editing world. I am using premiere pro and I know how to cut/edit and do simple things . But how do I import music into one animation without going into the next scene?

For example If my first animations are flowers, I would import a romantic song and so on. I hope I make sense.

I have tried but the music would keep going to the movie.

    thanks in advance.

You need to edit the music as you would the video. This means cutting the audio when you have cut the scene in the video. If you need specifics for your application, I suggest the help files or manual as a good starting point.

*Might* have better success scoring in an audio app that displays video?

At any rate, unless you're composing, a music clip probably isn't going to end with a scene of video, so often have to move the audio clip & cut both ends, mixing into preceding & next clip.

If this is a hassle, perhaps alter length of video to match, or look at something like Acid where you can design/compose your own audio using short loops to whatever length you want.
