  1. Ok, so here I am innocently wanting to merge 3 of my video files (wmv). Little do I know ******** want to make my life more shittier.

    I open up VirutalDub, throw the first file in it and get this 100% bs error message: “Not support Microsoft own us patent #6,041,345 on the ASF file format” etc (more bs)

    How do I fix this?

    I think I am going to pirate the next office, next os, and everything else Microsoft because of this BS (that and cause DRM is coming).

    Canadans hate DRM!

  4. lol... I already tried both your suggestion....

    I already have virtualdubmpeg2 and it did not work.
    Couldn’t locate decompressor for format 'wmv3' (unknown)
    I also tried version 1.3c, Got:
    asf: illegal object garment flags 0a etc
    edit: as for asfbin, if someone is to lazy to spend time coding up a user friendly screen then they probably didnt spend very long on the program itself.

    Use AviSynth with DIRECTSHOWSOURCE:

    Code:
    directshowsource("D:\iraqiinsurgents-takeout.wmv",FPS=15)

    ConvertToYUY2()
    ICBM target coordinates:
    26° 14' 10.16"N -- 80° 16' 0.91"W

    Also ASFTools. Installing ffdshow or WMV9 VCM should solve the VirtualDubMPEG2 error.

    You need VirtualDub v1.2, but it doesn't work very well anyway. You'll do better to use something else.
