  1. If i have an Audio_TS and Video_TS file set of a movie on my hard disk can i just burn the same like data files onto a blank DVD R or DVD RW and expect it to play in a DVD player without any compatibility of burn issues

    If not why not?

  2. No. DVD video needs a specific structure, like a template.

  3. Even if you have the file sent on your computer, it is always better to burn your disk using an authoring apps to avoid coasters !

  4. If you need something to easly burn a dvd file set to a DVD try imgtools burning tool.

    Popular tools to make an image of a DVD Folder(VIDEO_TS) and also burn it. In Addition, the burning tool allows you to confirm and burn a DVD from VIDEO_TS made by any other application.

  5. or if you use nero, you can just start a new dvd-video project and drag over the files that way...thats how i do mine.........basically, look at it like this, it's kinda like taking an audio cd and ripping it to wav, if you just burn the wav files to the disc without making it an audio cd, the data will still be there, just wont work on most devices, if you make it as an audio cd, it will be a LOT more compatable, same general idea goes here....
