Scenarist: last image from chapter freezes 1 sec before returning to menu

Hi,

I have authored a home videoclip in Scenarist and after dividing it into several chapters I noticed that the last image of each chapter freezes one second or even more before going back to the chapters menu. It's a nasty effect. Can I do something to avoid it?

P.S: The commands link each chapter's cell with a dummy pgc that links with the chapters menu.

The problem is that you cannot do a seamless link from one titleset to another. Instead create a dummy cell in the same titleset as your chapters. Then make this jump to your dummy PGC, which in turn jumps to your chapter menu. This way the delay will occur on whatever you put in your dummy cell. A good solution is to take a still of your chapter menu and use it as your dummy cell. This way it appears to jump to your chapter menu immediately, and the buttons/highlights jump pop up a bit later.

To decrease the delay try setting the jump to your dummy cell to seamless. On the scenario editor tab click on the little triangle thing that appears when you make a link. In the settings down below change to seamless if it lets you.

I did what you said and it works fine. I created a 0,01 sec dummy cell and now the screen goes black just a little bit and then jump to the chapter menu. It was impossible to settle the jump to the dummy cell to seamless, but it doesn't matter.
May be I'll try to put the first image from the chapter menu in the dummy cell, but as it happens to be a motion menu I'm not sure that the effect be OK. Anyway that's a very good idea.
