  1. Can someone explain how to use TMPGenc correctly to cut an mpeg2 file. It doesn't seem to want to do it. Failing this, if someone can recommend a freeware tool that actually works and is not limited to 7 seconds unless you pay and register or the like , I would be grateful

  4. Cheers I'll try this other one... I was just cursing because I'd done everything perfectly and it still wasn't having any of it. It would only let me access the first 10 seconds. Never had a problem using it on VCD though...

  6. I dont believe this!!! That bloody program destroyed my file... I've already lost 70Mb file from Morpheus tonight, now I've lost a 1 gig file from TMPGenc

  7. and to top this all. My file that I backed up didn't resume in Morpheus. It vanished this time. Oh well one and a half gigs down the drain.

  8. I know it is a dvd conversion guide..But when you encode just load the template that you want and you got it and just follow the rest it ain't that hard..

  9. Dude, thanks for that, the problem is I'm familiar with the usual routine. On this occaision however I didn't get to splice the file into small enough pieces prior to it fully encoding. Rather than starting again, there is surely a quicker way of simply cutiing it in half...
