How do I install the SVCD2DVD program (either version) using the .Net 2.0 framework? The installer just instructs me to install the .Net V1.1. Will this program even run on a 64 bit system? I have used this program for many years, and have upgraded to 64bit Intel Dual-Core 3.0, am I no longer able to use this program?

  2. Hello first of all excellent product. It has saved me many hrs. Now like the above i am moving to a 64bit system x2 3800+ with windows x64 pro. i was reading some post about some builds you sent a guy for his dual core. If you have any versions that will work with the dualcore and x64 OS please send me a copy, plus if you need help testing just let me know thx.

SVCD2DVD uses.Net 1.1 so that must be installed. It runs on 64 bit no problem.

Can .Net 1.1 and .Net 2.0 co-exist, or do I have to remove 2.0 first?

Well since this is a new system, I had nothing to loose, so I tried it. After .Net 2.0 was installed, I was able to install .Net 1.1. I was able to install both versions of SVCD2DVD without any issues. I will upload some files to the hard drives and see how things work out, but it should be good to go.

A question I do have though is there any plans to have a version that fully utilizes 64 bit and multiple core cpus?

Thanks again for the best conversion solution available, it really is a top notch program!!

Thanks for the kind words. .net 1.1 & 2.0 coexist no problem....

The latest version on SVCD2DVD does take advantage of Multiple CPUs/Hyperthreading/Dual core...
