    Hi all,

I have a quick question. I have Toast 6, Mac the ripper and a "trial" of DVD2One. I have burned a DVD using Toast (something I download off limewire) so I know that works. I have also ripped a DVD movie using Mac the ripper. I needed to compress the video to fit on a DVDR for burning. However, the "trial" version I have of DVD2One has a cap at 2 hours of video for the "trial" version only.

My question is if I buy the full version of DVD2One will I have everything I need? Dee-code with Mac the ripper, compress with DVD2One, then burn with Toast.

    Thanks you all very much.

    Yes.

Or your could buy Roxio's Popcorn instead of DVD2One or your could get Toast 7 instead of either Popcorn or DVD2One (if your Mac meets the Toast 7 requirements). I'm not suggesting which one you should get; just pointing out some alternatives.

So I take it that the new Toast 7 and Popcorn have compressing abilities? Thanks for the reply.

Yes, Toast 7 includes the features of Popcorn right in the Toast app.

  5. Also the new version of DETOX has burn abilities, so you might not need toast

I find it best to have more then one tool. Some disc do not play well with some apps.

I have MTR, DETOX old and new version and toast 7.
