    I use dvd shrink it goes through the first procsess but after I re-author it and do backup it comes up with an error message cannot read disk

    So you are getting that error from the dvdr after it has been burned and you try to play it ?

    And what drive is giving that error, a drive on your pc or a standalone ?

    no ok i use dvd shrink ok I open disc it does that 3 minute scan thing then I re author it to the movie only like I always do then when Iclick backup it comes up with the message

    Okay,

    Try ripping it to a temp folfer on your hard drive first with DVD Decrypter or DVDFab Decrypter.
    Then open the files on your HDD in shrink & not from the disc in the drive.

    I know i did that title ripping with DVD Decrypter & then using shrink.
