    I have been using VSO DivxtoDVD, and it's okay, but I have to do 1 episode at a time. Is there a quick, easy, and good program that can do multiple episodes at once? I tried it with VSO DivxtoDVD, but after the first file, it freezes.

    Source is DIVX?

    Target is DVD compliant MPEG2?

    TMPGENC has batch encoding functionality.

    winavi video converter can batch convert avi/divx to dvd pretty good. You may download a free trial version to have a try.

    You are in breach of the forum rules and are being issued with a ban. Stop spamming Winavi. There are far better alternatives!

    As an honest and independent individual, I have indeed had great success with WinAVI, though I'm probably the only one here who has. I've converted many tv episodes from divx to dvd format with it and then author it with TDA. No audio sync problems and video quality is great. TMPEnc, on the other hand, gave me all kinds of audio sync problems, as well as a host of other programs. In fact, WinAVI is the only click-and-forget converter I've found that can convert divx to dvd without audio sync issues.

  6. Try The Film Machine, superpotts. The quality using CCE in multi pass is far superior, speed in single pass is faster at similar quality, it is far more stable, and the donation asked is 8 euros. Add CCE basic for about $50 bucks and you are set. There are other excellent choices too.

    Unlike some, videohelp shows no fear or favor in attempting to get genuine reviews by ordinary honest folks such as yourself. It takes many hours of volunteer work every day just to keep the forum, guide, and tool lists clear of spam.

    You are free to support any program you like. Even one sold by Chinese hacks that abuse our free site and bleed our resources. Just don't expect us to cherish them.

  7. nothing beats BatchCCEWS for encoding AVI to Mpeg2 DVD. the script i use is

    AVISource("movie.avi", False)
    LanczosResize(720,480)
    ConvertToYUY2()

    above is for NTSC avi to ntsc mpeg2..for pal avi to ntsc mpeg 2 i use

    AVISource("movie_pal.avi", False)
    LanczosResize(720,480)
    AssumeFPS(23.976, True)
    ConvertToYUY2()

    i either demux audio and use ac3fix if audio is ac3 or if its mp3 i sav as wav and encode with vegas for ffmpegui as a free alternative. i do all audio demuxing with Vdubmod. All encoding is done with CCE.
