  1. I have read through cvcd forums, and many people posted cvcd templates, almost all of them unique. Can someone send me the real one? Preferable for NTSC, PAL, and FILM??

Also, is NTSC Film less compatible with DVD players??

  3. First, you never answered what a CVCD was? Is that a "compliant" VCD, or a "Canadian" VCD? BTW, if you have TMPGEnc, the NTSC, NTSCFilm, and PAL templates are the real ones! Also...if you want help, quit sounding like a spaz with your posts.

  4. It's my understanding that a CVCD is, roughly speaking, China VCD. It is more or less an XSVCD at half-D1 resolution of 352x480 instead of 480x480. Basically you just load up any SVCD template and change the resolution, and you have a CVCD. Others feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

sorry, but the "C" of "cvcd" stood for super in chineese, something like cioshi, though i know i spelled that wrong really bad. and another part of the CVCD was it had a 3Mbps CBR bitrate, and uses MPEG2, and indeed 352x480/352x576

    thats all i remeber

  8. Hmm, seems like you all have a different opinion about CVCD. So far I thought it would be China VCD which is some sort of Compressed VCD. I have a PAL China/Compressed VCD Template here on my machine, still, I found it somewhere in this forum so I guess it's the best just to search for CVCD (I think the subject of the entry was "130 minutes on one CD (loss-less)&quot.

But if someone has a CVCD Template for NTSC/NTSCFilm/PAL that really meets the standard (if there is a standard for CVCD) then I'd be more than happy if someone could send them to me. Thanks!
