I'm interested in getting a Bravo, but they're out of my price range for the DVD recorder. However, I see some CD recorders on ebay for much cheaper. Could I just swap out the CD burner drive for a DVD burner?

I have the one with just the printer. I also thought about that very thing. I am no sure whether the SW for the CD one will work with the DVD.

the dvd burner comes with the usb + firewire

if it has both -- it might work ...... maybe .... (try at own risk)"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
the dvd version btw uses (at least it did) primo dvd version 2 with one added file ... it is a dll file and can be dropped into any install of primo to control the bravo (i had one and tried it)
