    Over the weekend I used DVDDecrypter to pull some files off od a DVD, then I used AutoGK to convert them to .avi files. Files play perfectly on my PC but when I try to pull them into Adobe Premiere to edit they will not import. Am I missing something?

    but I wouldn't convert to compressed divx or xvid if you want to edit it. convert to dv-avi using virtualdubmpeg2 or frameserve from dgindex.
