    I ripped Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, but noticed when I previewed the file in DVD2AVI the english subtitles were NOT there, does anyone know or can you tell me how to rip the version with the English subtitles ? I am really new and still practicing so forgive me if this is a lame question....and I am sorry if I dont know all the buzz words yet....ill get there!

    I suggest you read the subtitling guides at http://www.doom9.net

    It is too complicated to describe in detail on what to do in a single post.

    For subtitles, I usually suggest the FlaskMPEG path of ripping as it is simpler. If you are interested, make sure you get the "subtitled fixed" version of Flask0.6 from doom9's site. The regular version of Flask doesn't do subtitles on CTHD.
