Anyone else have a problem trying to encode a ffmpeg Xvid with audio? I downloaded and installed 'v' three times and it still immediately erred out when hitting encode. Gives the 'number of output streams must match....' error. If you disable 'encode audio' it works, as in it begins to encode the video only. It also 'works' when trying to encode a .mov with AAC audio, but, that's only because it completely ignores the AACs existence and begins encoding the video only. It doesn't even see the AAC audio anymore.
What's Up? I re-installed 'u' and ffmpeg Xvid works again

VOB to XviD ffmpeg goes well here, but an Apple movie trailer (h.264/AAC) fails on audio. The original multichannel audio gives a "Can't resample. Aborting."-error. If I first convert the audio (in QT PRo) to AAC, stereo, 48kHz, 128 kbps, then ffmpegX recognizes that as AAC, 96 kHz, 0 channels, which fails as well, obviously.
Adding a PCM stereo WAV audio track to the h.264 video then finally produces something that ffmpegX XviD ffmpeg will handle correctly.

Yeah, ffmpeg always had a problem with AAC audio, but that really doesn't bother me. I just threw that in hoping it might shed some light on the problem I am concerned with. The Xvid ffmpeg option is about the only ffmpegX .avi format that my Avayon Divx player works with. I use it to convert those Qpel encoded Xvid .AVIs that my player won't play. It use to work fine. Now I have this above problem trying to encode an Xvid/mp3-ac3 .avi to a Qpel-less Xvid/mp3-ac3 .avi. Can you try it with an Xvid/mp3-ac3 .AVI and see if it works for you? BTW, I'm not trying to encode 2 audio tracks, just one, using either mp3 OR ac3 audio 8)

    WTF!!!
OK, I just installed version 'v' on another computer, tried a few movies, and found....
For some reason this error only happens if you select the 'Trellis quantization' option! If you DO NOT select Trellis, but leave everything else the same...It Works! TOO Weird! Again, this didn't happen in version 'u'.
