    I remember reading from somewhere that you could add subtitles onto your dv tape as datecode. So after the process I could watch movie with subtitles on my camera and turn them on/off.

    Does anyone know how to do that and which programs to use?

    I believe you may be confused. You can convert your datecodes to subtitles, so you can turn them on and off while watching your DVD. I have not seen any method for doing the reverse.
